MSR Elixir 2-Person Backpacking Tent
Two-person tent with aluminum poles and an included footprint.
A good fit for: Two campers who value space and straightforward setup.
$300– $380Description
A two-person freestanding tent with a rectangular floor, two doors, and vestibules for gear. The Elixir puts usable space and straightforward pitching ahead of the smallest possible packed weight. Its aluminum poles and included footprint give you parts to inspect and maintain between trips. A tent’s coatings, seams, and zippers still age, so dry it thoroughly and check repair-part compatibility with the exact model year. This is a camping and backpacking shelter, not a guarantee of protection in every weather condition.
